About Us
First and foremost, like you we are enthusiasts who love art and photography. We believe that pictures/images/artworks are about communication and sharing. We also believe that it is through sharing that we become enthused, motivated, appreciated and have fun. And what better way to do this than through the beautiful medium of photography.
Pixoroo was conceived during the Covid pandemic days and was made possible by the evolution of online technologies, such at the cloud and the ability to work in teams remotely. Needs to be said though that at the beginning the aims were not as ambitious! Now photographers can build their photography websites, clubs can run their club competitions and photography salon. More work is in the pipeline to do with Photographic Federations club battle competitions and championships as well as website building and membership management for clubs and societies.
The ultimate aim of Pixoroo is to be a one stop platform for amateur and enthusiast photographers, photography clubs and societies to run their competitions, salons, build photography website, get information about photographic events, take part in photography contest and share their pictures.
