Pixoroo web building tools are brand new and despite that a number of website have been built and are hosted by the Pixoroo.com platform.
I have been taking pictures for just over 15 years. I enter photo competitions, I judge competitions, I have two lectures that I present in person and remotely, I sell prints, I have a published a photography book, I do workshop and tutorials.
I needed a website that works for me, that it is easy to build and maintain, that is modern and sleek and that I can sell the odd print and I can sell the odd book etc.. I have had two websites so far built in other platforms and I found them not exactly what I needed. So I build pixoroo and this is exactly what I wanted! I hope you like my new pixoroo website!

Pixoroo offers a few services for photographers such as Web building, Club Competitions, Salons' Entrying and the FIAP App. I am a proud user of all of them!
I have used Pixoroo to build my own Website ( andrewbuckleyphotography.com ). The web builder building blocks are intuitive and easy to use. The building blocks are for Galleries, Sub Galleries, Web Pages, Sub Pages, Miscellaneous Pages, Private Galleries, Presentations, Contact Page and Diary Page. It is easy to add content and to maintain ongoing. My experience of building my website to what I wanted as a finished showcase for my work was enjoyable, easy to do and stress free. I am very happy with the final finished website that looks sleek and professional.
I have already entered three salons on Pixoroo. I have found the process smooth and easy. I love the fact that I have access to all my entries any time, I can download images from one salon and enter to another. When the results are published they are automatically showing on my Pixoroo Salon Portal.
As an active member of The Cheltenham Camera Club I use Pixoroo for entering Club Competitions but also in the hall or via zoom when the competitions are judged. Everything is sleek and smooth. Like in the case of my salon entries, I can download images entered in a club competitions and upload them to another with ease.
I use Pixoroo to help me progress to AFIAP accreditation. It aids in finding your next international salon to enter, If you already have sized images on Pixoroo in your FIAP library it is easy to download them to the salon you wish to enter. When you have your results back from the salon it is simple to record your result in Pixoroo. This then feeds into Your Statistics showing what you have already achieved and what you need to achieve. In the My Statistics section you can see at a glance what you need to do to achieve your FIAP accreditation. Pixoroo creates the whole FIAP Application for you. In a couple of clicks you have the Excel Application, The Thumbnail Images Prints and the Dossier Images ready to send to FIAP.

I have entered a large number of international salons, each with its own entry software and process. I can wholeheartedly say that Pixoroo is by far my favorite system. Not only is it incredibly intuitive, but it also boasts a modern interface that makes entering competitions and receiving results a breeze. I would love to see more international salons adopting this excellent tool.
Initially, I was hesitant to move my salon records to Pixoroo, thinking my comprehensive spreadsheet was sufficient. However, I am so glad I made the switch. The system is far superior to any spreadsheet, and the "icing on the cake" is its ability to automate the FIAP application process. With just a couple of clicks, you have a fully completed application ready to send to your local FIAP Officer. The real game-changer is the one-click thumbnail generator, which takes 30 seconds instead of 30 hours to compile all your image thumbnails in the correct order, ready to print as a PDF. If you encounter any issues, they are resolved swiftly, so I wholeheartedly recommend using Pixoroo for all your salon needs.

Stroud Camera Club has chosen Pixoroo to be our competition management solution. We believe Pixoroo has the flexibility and simplicity of operation to enable our Competition Secretary to quickly and easily set up and run the competitions for each Season, in any format the Club chooses to use. Regardless of whether the Club chooses to apply user levels such as Advanced or Intermediate, or whether we choose to use a “points” system or a “”hold-back” system or a combination of each, Pixoroo makes it easy to set up. Standing data such as competition types (open, mono, colour, prints, digital etc etc) only has to be set up once and from then on is simply selected as required to suit. The Competition secretary can easily email individual or all competition entrants, and the judge too, during the run-up to the competition, all from within Pixoroo, using the built-in editor. No technical or computing expertise is required to run Pixoroo.
Competition entrants benefit from receiving an automatic email confirmation of their entries, including thumbnails. Entries can easily be changed at any point up to the closing date of the competition, resulting in a fresh confirmation email each time. Entrants’ competition images build into their own library of images and are also added to the searchable Club Library, making it simple for the Club to select images for possible use in external competitions, based on various criteria such as date range, scores awarded, authors’ names etc.
In summary, Pixoroo offers us the comprehensive, fully featured and flexible competition management system we require. It is presented in a thoroughly modern and clean interface with easy usability of setup and operation and with positive benefits for competition entrants. The one caveat is that Pixoroo runs entirely on the internet so clubs must have a good broadband internet connection available for presenting the Competition “on the night.” If this is unavailable in your club premises it can be overcome, as we have done, with the use of a mobile hotspot.
